SOFTWARE / ILLUSTRATIVE USE CASE

Help people discover
what matters to them.

A content-rich website could offer a more relevant experience through recommendations, chosen interests, search and saved reading.

ForYou is our working name for this example of a system we could develop for a client. It is not a deployed or tested product, a customer case study or evidence of improved engagement.

The features below are possibilities to explore. Scope, platform compatibility, privacy requirements and evaluation would be agreed for a specific project.

A more personal path through your content.

When a site holds a large library of articles or resources, a chronological list may not help everyone find what they need. A custom discovery system could provide several complementary routes.

Recommendations based on chosen interests.

Let users select topics or authors, then suggest relevant content and explain why it appears.

Useful material, saved for later.

Give users a way to keep and retrieve resources within your website.

Search that helps people find an answer.

Surface relevant material and matching passages, with results evaluated against representative tasks.

Start with your users, not a feature list.

We would first discuss what users need to find, the available content and the systems already in place. A suitable design depends on your platform, access rules, account model and privacy requirements.

Any prototype would need testing before a production rollout. Recommendations should be evaluated for relevance and usefulness; longer sessions alone do not prove a better experience. No uplift in engagement, retention or revenue is established or promised.
