If you choose updates, Mailgun sends a confirmation link. Only after you confirm would your email be added to the Mailchimp research list. Existing opt-outs are not automatically reversed.

Confirming research updates creates a subscriber record in our WordPress site, or links your existing account. New research-only records cannot sign in yet. Unsubscribing stops research emails. We keep existing website accounts, but delete accounts created only for research updates if they are still dormant 90 days after unsubscribe. Necessary consent and opt-out records are kept separately. Requesting the guide alone does not create an account.

Your website and interest help us understand the research audience, not authorise sales emails. Our policy is to remove guide-request details and unconfirmed signups within 90 days; confirmed subscriptions are separate. Read the privacy information.
